Suggestions For Ratcheting Down The Political Toxicity – Pt. 2: CONDEMN BERKELEY STUDENT PROTEST RIOTS

January 10, 2011

We applaud the Progressive Democrat party for taking a bold stand against the toxic state of today’s political climate. Better late than never.

Here is one suggestion for how to ratchet down the toxic tone in today’s political climate. Forcefully condemn student protest-riots.

Lack of forceful condemnation of this behavior is the same as excusing it, which sends a dangerous signal to today’s youth.

How can anyone excuse people rioting, and then expect those same people to successfully judge which laws are okay to break and which ones are not? It’s a slippery slope that our body politic would arguably do better without.
