Once again, the mainstream media in Chicago have their asses handed to them by a local blogger.
Rebel Pundit attended a recent Progressive rally staged in downtown Chicago, and documented what he saw. Then he compared his footage to what the mainstream outlets presented about the gathering.
Be sure to watch the part (1:03) where the revolutionary ANSWER organizer threatens to make America’s streets “ungovernable.” That didn’t make the “news”cast.
Be sure to watch the part (3:27) comparing MSM to blogger coverage of event organizer, Andy Thayer. In Andy’s very radical speech, he glorifies the idea of bringing Egyptian style revolution to Chicago and Madison. Andy’s revolutionary speech didn’t make it into the “news”cast. In his interview with local media, calm Andy gave generic quotes for mass consumption. Those are what made the “news”cast.
Andy’s home was raided by the FBI, related to an investigation into connections with FARC and Hamas. That didn’t make the “news”cast either.
Be sure to watch their featured rap artist (5:00), waxing poetic about “niggers” grabbing their nuts, while he grabs his nuts of course. That didn’t make the evening “news”cast either.
P.S. The rapper was introduced by the event organizer, Code Pink’s Pat Hunt. The fact that the event was organized by Code Pink didn’t seem to make the “news”cast either.
Recapping: The very same groups who are under investigation for their connections to the FARC and Hamas, organized a call to revolution in downtown Chicago, and the mainstream media covered it as a generic anti-war gathering.
