Illinois Democrat’s Alleged Prostitute-Girlfriend Arrested AFTER Engaging In Sexual Act With Cop?
February 17, 2010 | 2 Comments
Never mind that this story is about the scandal-plagued Illinois Democrat nominee for Lt. Governor and his alleged prostitute girlfriend. Illinois Democrats nominating a man accused of holding a knife to a prostitute’s throat is not exactly news.
What stands out in this article about the Democrat’s alleged prostitute/girlfriend, is that she was reportedly arrested AFTER performing a sex act on an undercover cop.
Eneman herself was arrested for prostitution at the Eden Spa in April 2005 for performing a sex act on an undercover police officer in exchange for $150. The police report quoted her telling the officer at the end of their session that prostitution was common there.
Details from the police report of Eneman’s arrest in Glenview say the undercover police officer entered Eden Spa and asked for a “session with Mandi.” He and Amanda went into a private room. He paid her for the time, and she asked if he wanted an “exotic massage.” He said yes, and she performed a sex act, according to the police report.
Umm….if that’s true, shouldn’t the cop be arrested? This must be an error in the article.
Below is the mug shot of the Democrat’s alleged prostitute/girlfriend.
For the record, we don’t care if Democrat Scott Lee Cohen was seeing a pro. We don’t care if anyone sees a pro. The position of this blog, consistent with our ethos of keeping the government out of our formally personal, formally private lives, is if a man or woman wants to lease their private parts to a willing renter, that is between them and has nothing to do with the administration of government.
Yes, engaging in acts of prostitution is unsanitary and risky behavior, but so are a whole host of behaviors so-called “free” adults choose to engage in every day. If no money changed hands, this woman could feel free to “massage” as many people as she might choose, all day and all night long. Why is the exchange of money grounds for revoking that freedom?
Last thought on this, if the government exited the business of managing people’s sex lives, there would be no ambiguity as to the behavior choices of those now hiding behind their “massages.” That might come in handy the next time Democrats are choosing their nominee. At it stands right now, the industry is driven underground, and under a cloak of secrecy.

Gizmodo has video of a recent test of an airborne laser destroying a ballistic missile.
This is nothing new, and not terribly impressive. Below is video of a similar technique deployed in the 1980’s.

Just 6% of Americans believe the $787 “stimulus” boondoggle created any jobs according to a recent New York Times/CBS poll.
Jason Mattera chimed in with the quote above.

DISTURBING (VIDEO): Americans Held In Pakistan Cry Out “We’re Being Tortured”
February 12, 2010 | 3 Comments
The following video is posted over at WSJ Online. The caption for the link reads:
Americans shout “we are being tortured” from their prison bus after appearing before a court in Pakistan on suspicion of using the Internet to contact Islamist militant groups.
This might be an obtuse observation, but there are probably only three kinds of Americans in Pakistan these days.
1) American Jihadis
2) American Military/CIA etc…
3) American Missionary
These groups are not mutually exclusive.
Let’s pray that they are not being tortured. Fat chance of that though, considering where they are.
